Melomania du
o Sardia (scad) Kakoschke and Mandy Barr, along with Southern Community Media Association CEO Ray Hazen and Mascot Sam Orangutan, were on the airwaves for 48 hours straight from 9.30am Saturday. Bordertown Police Sergeant Michael Hutchinson escorted the trio to the station in the back of the divvy van. Throughout the 48 hours the team was joined by a range of music industry stars from members of The Wiggles, to Ricki-Lee and Dianna Corcoran. The program was streamed live via www.melomania.com.au and had more than 3000 significant hits. When the show ended monday morning, not surprisingly it was straight to bed for Scad, Mandy and Ray, who’d been up for around 51 hours.
