1.Moves Like Jaggar – Maroon 5 Ft Christina Aguilera

Great track along with a great video or was that just Adam Levine’s Tats?The song reached number two on the Australian ARIA Charts, and held the runner-up spot for ten straight weeks.

2.Someone Like You – Adele

The song received one Grammy Award nomination, in pop category, for “Best Pop Vocal Performance Solo”Its a Great single from one great album.

3. Sexy And I Know it – LMFAO

lets face it after hearing this song all you want to do is wiggle wiggle wiggle it.

4. Somebody I Used To Know – Gotya Ft Kimbra

Took out the aria Single of 2011.. pretty much sums it all really.

5. Jar of Hearts – Christina Perri

described as an autobiographical song for Christina Perri, recalling an ex-boyfriend who wanted to reconnect after a tough breakup. Something many of us can relate to.

6.Pumped Up Kicks -Foster The People

ok now this song was released September 2010, and but it wasnt until mid-2011 that it started recieving noticeable airplay on stations.

7. S&M – Rihanna

Controversial song in more ways than one way including the video spawned a lawsuit when photographer David LaChapelle alleged that it used imagery from his photo shoot for Vogue Italia

8. Mr Know It All – Kelly Clarkson

Wasn’t a fan of this song originally , overtime the more i heard it the more i loved it.

9. Jet Lag – Simple Plan Ft Natashia Bedingfield

An unlikely team up that worked.

10. She’s Got Nothing On But The Radio – Roxette

What more can be said? its Roxette and its a song about Radio! Roxette will be dressed for success early next year for one hell of a joyride.

Hey Melomaniacs,
As you may have noticed there has been some exciting things in the air. Including
Hitting 1000 + fans on facebook. We are also getting closer to the end of the year
which Means things are only going to get busier. By the time we hit the end of December
we are going to feature some of our favourite moments/interviews on the show from 2011.
We had 44 different special guests this year, some of which were featured on the show
More than once.
Last year country singer Stephanie Brownlee took the crown in our first ever Melomaniac of the year! Melomaniac of the year is decided by the public via poll on melomania facebook. This year we have also added a voting poll via www.melomania.com.au. If you thought competition was hot last year watch out 2011. the voting poll has only been open for a couple of days and has already smashed the voting record of last year. So happy voting and we cannot wait to broadcast the best of melomania 2011 in December!

If you loved Savage Garden you’ll love this.

Darren Hayes has returned with his 4th solo album Secret Codes And Battleships.The album includes singles “Black Out the Sun” (Released in the UK), “Talk Talk Talk” and the ever so beautiful “Bloodstained Heart”.

Stand out tracks for me included Dont give up, stupid mistake and cruel cruel world. Darren Hayes has always been an artist who can express feelings and thoughts through music like no other. the 1998 smash hit Truly Madly Deeply hayes co-wrote alone proves that. Secret Codes and Battleships is a pure pop record and o joke, could easily be mistaked as SavageGarden’s comeback album and im not the only one saying this either.

Trivia : “Black Out the Sun” was originally written for Leona Lewis. In January 1998, “Truly Madly Deeply” hit number one in the U.S, pushing record sales to over 11 million worldwide.

BACK STRONGER THAN EVER!!!

Stronger is the fifth studio album by critically acclaimed American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson. Being a Kelly fan myself I was a little nervous about this release as it was originally planned to be released in late 2010 then pushed back several times. The deluxe edition features 4 additional songs including “Don’t You Want to Stay” with country superstar Jason Alden. Stand out tracks include The War Is Over, Hello, Einstein, Don’t be a Girl about it, and “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger). Despite the constant leaks over the internet of some of Clarkson’s tracks this chick really knows how to bounce back with the No 1 smash hit Mr Know It All, pointing out not only within the lyrics “you don’t know a thing about me” but the pinup board featured in the music video, displaying the industry’s take on her career. Not only did she strip back some layers with the song, but also the album adding bit more of an R&B vibe. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t have any in your face single chick anthems. Let’s face it; it wouldn’t be a Kelly Clarkson album without them. This “Miss Independent” can “Walk Away” happily knowing that her “Life Would Suck Without” this cd.

Yep you’ve caught me haven’t updated the website for a while. sorry guys.. on the bright side we will be officially streaming via the site by the end of the week as well as syndicated via the stations. We also have some great interviews this week with The Trip and Thirsty Merc. If anyone finds my co-host Mandy.. please let us know.. lol.. seriously even Mandy has been busy! Well Guys we are 3 hours into the lockdown and already we have had sone problems ……….the webcam feed fron the studio is out of action for the time being but we will get it up again as soon as we can

Ok… So thought i better start doing some serious work… haha ok maybe not. This weeks show should be slightly interesting as our third inmate ‘Ray’ will be joining us as a co-host on the show, Words cannot describe how interesting it will be lol.. and from what i hear Rikki has some exciting goss on a 21 year old burger haha..
